Who the heck is Marilee Crocker? Since 1988 I’ve been a home-based professional – a freelance business and travel trade journalist, writer and editor (with a few private citizen and business clients on the side). Since 2004 my biz@home column has appeared twice monthly in the Sunday business pages of the Cape Cod Times, my hometown paper. The column is the inspiration for this blog.
I live on Cape Cod with my partner and spouse Mayrene. I love living on the Cape, and I love Mayrene. (Mayrene works from home too; she’s an awesome rowing coach for masters women.) In a previous life I lived in Manhattan, where I held various editorial positions at Travel Weekly. But that was a long time ago.
